Want to know what really happened behind the scenes in my Q1?
Speaker A:I'm here to tell you it was not all wins, and it wasn't all perfect execution.
Speaker A:And in a lot of ways, it was a season of hibernating.
Speaker A:It was a season of avoiding.
Speaker A:And honestly, playing small for a long time.
Speaker A:I've been playing small for a long time, but it also was a season that cracked me wide for open in so many uncomfortable ways.
Speaker A:So today, I want to share with you the truth, because that's what we're all about here.
Speaker A:The truth right behind the highs, the struggles, and how I'm moving forward.
Speaker A:And I want to share this with you because I know that you're probably ready to stop playing small, too.
Speaker A:And I want to take you with me.
Speaker A:So if you're ready, let's dive in to today's behind the scenes episode on Q1.
Speaker A:All right, we're diving in.
Speaker A:And I really want to start this episode with this quote, because I read it, and I don't know the author of it.
Speaker A:I would love if I did, but I don't.
Speaker A:And it just.
Speaker A:It really hit me.
Speaker A:And the quote is this.
Speaker A:Sometimes playing small isn't about a lack of strategy.
Speaker A:It's about feeling safer in staying invisible.
Speaker A:But safe can also mean stuck.
Speaker A:And stuck doesn't serve you, your clients, or your business.
Speaker A:Oh, truth bomb.
Speaker A:Truth bomb.
Speaker A:Did that one hit you?
Speaker A:It hit me.
Speaker A:It just.
Speaker A:I was like, ooh.
Speaker A:And I love this.
Speaker A:You know, it's not that it's a lack of strategy.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And we know that.
Speaker A:But that sometimes it's just safer staying invisible.
Speaker A:Okay, so let's just dive right in and talk about what Q1 actually looked like.
Speaker A:And I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
Speaker A:I'm just going to tell it like it is, because that is something that is so incredibly important to me, and this is something that I used to do a lot of.
Speaker A:And I talked.
Speaker A:Gosh, I had so many conversations about this at the Energetics of Business conference that I went to in San Diego about how all of these things I used to do, I used to do.
Speaker A:I found myself constantly saying, I used to do this, and I constantly found people saying back to me, well, why did you stop?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Like, why did you stop?
Speaker A:And there's.
Speaker A:There's a whole story there on why I stopped.
Speaker A:But anyways, we're bringing it back, right?
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The name of this podcast is the Real Truth about Business, and we're diving in.
Speaker A:All right, so we're not sugar coding it, and I'M going to give you the real truth.
Speaker A:Okay, so what did Q1 actually look like?
Speaker A:Well, it looked like two really big revenue months followed by a really, really low revenue month.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:That I really wasn't expecting.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like, things were moving good.
Speaker A:We were on this consistent revenue.
Speaker A:Things were looking up and then March hit and revenue just kind of completely tanked.
Speaker A:Not in a bad way.
Speaker A:It just, I didn't really get any new clients coming in because again, I started traveling.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And this played a big role in this.
Speaker A:I was traveling all, almost all of March, from pretty much February 27th on, I was traveling or we had company in town.
Speaker A:And so that made a lot of difference.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Because I was just kind of surviving and there really wasn't a lot of time to focus on Legion, even though that's what I preach.
Speaker A:Again, I'm not perfect.
Speaker A:Life is not perfect.
Speaker A:Things are not perfect.
Speaker A:And so it created a really low month.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So that's what happened.
Speaker A:You know, you've got these two big revenue months and then it's like, oof.
Speaker A:That, that kind of sucked.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:It also was a lot of behind the scenes, a lot of behind the scenes creation, A lot of travel, a lot of conferences and personal distractions.
Speaker A:Like we were just talking about just Travel from basically February 27th on and going to conferences, which were great.
Speaker A:Being in the room, meeting new people, having new conversations, just, you know, and here's the thing with the conferences that I, I always tell everybody is that when you go to a conference, most of the time you're not going to learn anything mind blowing.
Speaker A:Although I did, I did learn one thing mind blowing at the energetics of Business, thanks to my good friend Julie Costa.
Speaker A:But it wasn't.
Speaker A:And she's, by the way, she's going to teach this mind blowing technique inside the Focus Business Visionary.
Speaker A:So if you're not in there by April, hint, hint, wink, wink.
Speaker A:Massive changes coming.
Speaker A:Huge, huge updates and this guest experts and you are not going to want to miss this one.
Speaker A:Anyways.
Speaker A:So it's like one of those things where like it's all about being in the room, right?
Speaker A:The conferences.
Speaker A:And so just really thinking about why am I here?
Speaker A:What am I going to gain from this?
Speaker A:What is my intention?
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And being so super intentional about understanding that you may not learn anything mind blowing, but it's about being in the room.
Speaker A:So a lot of behind the scenes, we were doing a lot of updates to the Focus Visionary accelerator, which you've heard me talk about just a lot, making sure that was running More on autopilot, putting it on Evergreen, getting it launched on Evergreen, working through some tech stuff.
Speaker A:Just a lot of, you know, behind the scenes, just making sure things work and getting, you know, updating my website, getting some different things going on.
Speaker A:That and making sure that it wasn't just kind of like this ready, fire, aim strategy.
Speaker A:Like really trying to do things correctly and making sure that systems were set up so that I could wash, rinse and repeat these things.
Speaker A:Which in the beginning it's a lot of work and it freaking sucks, right?
Speaker A:Like all this takes so much time.
Speaker A:It sucks.
Speaker A:It's a pain in the ass.
Speaker A:I had to hire it out.
Speaker A:I ended up having to work because it's not my zone of genius.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So those are some of those things that like are just happening behind the scenes that most people don't talk about.
Speaker A:All right, what else did Q1 look like?
Speaker A:It looked like over scheduling myself with way too many coffee chats and not enough execution time.
Speaker A:So at the end of the year, last year I joined two networking groups and at the end of the year I didn't really have time to dive into em because it was December and I did the retreat and I did biz planning week and all the things.
Speaker A:And so in January was like, I'm diving in, I'm jumping in.
Speaker A:I'm going to show up at all the events I went to, all the member connects.
Speaker A:I started reaching out to people hanging out inside their group chat thing that they had and I scheduled a ton of freaking coffee chats and my days were booked so solid and I found myself having zero time to execute.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I did give myself Mondays as a CEO day, which was, I made that again a non negotiable.
Speaker A:But there was a couple holidays in there or just a couple things like where Mondays I didn't have it.
Speaker A:And then from Tuesday, on Tuesday through Thursday, I was just booked freaking solid.
Speaker A:And so I just did not have a lot of execution time.
Speaker A:And so when I didn't have enough execution time, then I started feeling overwhelmed, then I started feeling behind and you know, whatever.
Speaker A:So that's what leads to the next point is just these really a lot of moments of feeling behind, a lot of moments of fear, feeling overwhelmed, a lot of moments feeling like I was dropping the ball, I was letting people down, I was not delivering on my promises.
Speaker A:And although most people probably don't feel that way, it's how I felt.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I didn't have any clients saying I feel like you, you are dropping the ball.
Speaker A:I didn't Have.
Speaker A:It's not like I.
Speaker A:I was being told that it was just a feeling, right?
Speaker A:And I think that we need to honor and respect those feelings, whether they're true or not.
Speaker A:They're true in the moment, right?
Speaker A:They're things that are coming up for us.
Speaker A:And if I'm being honest, it led to a lot of meltdowns, like a couple of really good meltdowns with my husband.
Speaker A:He's always my meltdown, like the.
Speaker A:The shoulder, you know, And I'm.
Speaker A:I'm really.
Speaker A:Have been doing a lot of really, really deep, deep subconscious reprogramming, Nervous system regulation.
Speaker A:I've been dealing with some health struggles, a lot of chronic inflammation.
Speaker A:Just a ton.
Speaker A:You know, there's a ton I don't talk about behind the scenes of being in chronic pain, not being able to move my body very well, muscle spasms.
Speaker A:I mean, I had a muscle spasm in my back so bad at one point that it actually, like, knocked my ribs out of place.
Speaker A:Like, how does that even freaking happen?
Speaker A:So there's things, you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Just, I've been dealing with a lot of that, and I just had a.
Speaker A:A couple really good meltdowns.
Speaker A:But I think too, one of the things that I've been working on is recognizing that, right?
Speaker A:Recognizing that, like, I'm over the edge, I'm overstimulated, I'm overwhelmed, and I just need to figure this out, right?
Speaker A:But one of the things that, that led to a lot of in Q1 is just avoidance and retreating, you know, couch time, scrolling TikTok, endlessly mindlessly watching tv, not actually executing, like, thinking, okay, on Friday I'm going to get all caught up.
Speaker A:And then Friday would come and I would not get caught up because I just didn't feel like it, right?
Speaker A:I just didn't have it within me.
Speaker A:So a lot, a lot of that has been going on.
Speaker A:And yeah, it's just.
Speaker A:But also a lot of it is when I think when you're doing some of that deep work, it takes time to integrate, it takes time to settle in.
Speaker A:Okay, now that's all kind of like that was what went down.
Speaker A:But also, let's talk about where I am feeling cracked wide open.
Speaker A:So a lot of this deep work, right?
Speaker A:The energy work, the nervous system regulation, the subconscious reprogramming, the trauma informed, like going backwards, dealing with some inner child, like vast childhood traumas, et cetera.
Speaker A:I realized too, that there were some.
Speaker A:A lot of healing that needed to take place.
Speaker A:A lot of healing, a lot of forgiveness in so Many ways.
Speaker A:And that's something I've avoided for a long time, right?
Speaker A:Like, I just didn't want to deal with it.
Speaker A:And so I will tell you that, like, it can only.
Speaker A:You can only avoid it for so long because it will continue to come up.
Speaker A:But when I went to these conferences, what I learned and what I just kept, the truth of the matter was that I have been playing small.
Speaker A:I have been downplaying my expertise.
Speaker A:I have been stuck in this loop of, I am not good enough.
Speaker A:I am not seen.
Speaker A:I am not as well liked as others, right?
Speaker A:Like, all of that.
Speaker A:That I am.
Speaker A:Nobody sees or hears me.
Speaker A:Nobody values me.
Speaker A:I am not worthy.
Speaker A:I am not good enough.
Speaker A:People don't like me the way they like other people.
Speaker A:I'm not as good as all these other coaches.
Speaker A:I don't belong to be in that.
Speaker A:I don't deserve to be in that room.
Speaker A:You know, all of these things.
Speaker A:And then I walk into the room and realize, like, I freaking did belong to be in that room.
Speaker A:I was eight years into my business.
Speaker A:Some of these other people in the room were far less in their business than that, you know?
Speaker A:And it was just a reminder that, like, no, you do deserve it, right?
Speaker A:Like, you deserve to be in that room.
Speaker A:And, like, when you're in a room and you hear these speakers talking, and it's like, oh, my gosh, I teach about that on my podcast.
Speaker A:I just recorded a podcast episode on that.
Speaker A:I can't tell you the amount of times when I was having conversations when they would workshop us inside of these conferences.
Speaker A:I'd say, oh, I just had a co.
Speaker A:I just recorded a podcast episode about that.
Speaker A:Or I was just talking inside my Facebook group or inside the Focus Visionary.
Speaker A:I was talking with a client inside of there, like, And I'm thinking to myself, like, why have you been downplaying this?
Speaker A:Why do you feel like you did not belong in here?
Speaker A:When you are teaching this, you are saying it.
Speaker A:I just said the same damn thing.
Speaker A:And yet here's this person teaching it.
Speaker A:Why are you not playing that?
Speaker A:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:Like, why are you not owning that?
Speaker A:And so I just realized that, like, playing small is safer, right?
Speaker A:It's safer.
Speaker A:It's easier.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:But it's also extremely suffocating.
Speaker A:And it.
Speaker A:When you play it small, all it does is play into those limiting beliefs.
Speaker A:Because the more you play small, the more you believe that I'm not good enough.
Speaker A:I'm not seen.
Speaker A:I'm not valued.
Speaker A:I'm not.
Speaker A:I don't have as much expertise, right?
Speaker A:Well, how can you get out of that if you're not willing to put yourself into a bigger room where people can see your expertise?
Speaker A:If you're not willing to share your podcast episodes so people can hear that you know what you're talking about, so people can see you, so people can hear you, you, right?
Speaker A:Like if you're not doing the work and you're not putting yourself out there and sharing what you know, then of course you're going to get stuck in that loop, right?
Speaker A:And that's the thing that is what cracked me wide open, is yes, you've been playing small and yes, you are feeling all of those things, but don't you see that there is a correlation between the two, right?
Speaker A:Playing safe, playing small.
Speaker A:But also it's feeding those limiting beliefs.
Speaker A:It's feeding those, those psychological patterns that just keep showing up, right?
Speaker A:And so by doing that, I also realized that I'm not selling as boldly as I could, right?
Speaker A:I hint around at it, I talk about it, I joke about it.
Speaker A:Even just in the beginning of this podcast episode, I joked around saying, oh, I've got this guest expert coming in to the Focus Visionary.
Speaker A:If you're not there, you should be there, right?
Speaker A:Like that's kind of soft selling.
Speaker A:And yes, it's, I was joking and I, I really was like, hint, hint, wink, wink.
Speaker A:But here's the reality of it.
Speaker A: game changing program that I: Speaker A:And I know that it is a framework that every business owner needs because it is the framework, it is the foundations, it is the absolute, like, epitome of the, of what it takes to grow and scale a business that most coaches aren't teaching, most consultants, most strategists aren't.
Speaker A:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:And I need to step into that and boldly start selling that.
Speaker A:And you need to start boldly selling your offer because I guarantee that your offer has some magic inside of it that people don't know about.
Speaker A:And so we can sit here and say, I'm not being seen or heard, but when's the last time you showed up boldly?
Speaker A:When's the last time you've actually painted the picture of why somebody needs that?
Speaker A:I can claim that very boldly, but also, why don't I prove it to you?
Speaker A:How do I prove to you that the Focus Visionary is not just any other program, right?
Speaker A:How do I share with you and help you to visualize and see and feel and understand why this program is different?
Speaker A:I'VE not been doing that right, and I guarantee you haven't been doing it either.
Speaker A:And so these are the things like if you're not feeling seen or heard, when's the last time you put yourself out there to be seen or heard?
Speaker A:And so here's the other thing is this comparison, this comparing myself to others and minimizing my own success.
Speaker A:Shying away from collaborations because I felt unworthy or jealous.
Speaker A:And I will tell you, I'm going to open and be honest, there are times there are a couple people that I chose not to continue having conversations with years and years and years ago because I was jealous or I felt like, why are they doing better than me?
Speaker A:Why are they getting all the business and not me?
Speaker A:What are they doing differently?
Speaker A:Like, oh, they must be doing this right.
Speaker A:And so you create this comparison and this, these feelings and these thought patterns.
Speaker A:And do you know a couple of those people I met in person at these varying different conferences and all of them walked up to me and were like, Michelle, I am just like, I envy you.
Speaker A:I just can't believe the way you show up so strongly and you stand in such power and you feel so confident in what you do and, and I just love, you know, your branding and it's so powerful in that black and the white and the green and I just envy.
Speaker A:And you're an inspiration to me.
Speaker A:And all the while I've been feeling like less than, than them and I've shied away from like continuing conversations all the while they're watching me while I'm watching them.
Speaker A:And it just is such a toxic pattern.
Speaker A:But this is what the online space creates, this is what the online space thrives in is this constant state of comparison instead of collaborating, instead of lifting each other up.
Speaker A:And I'm telling you, you can do all of that when you hide behind your keyboard.
Speaker A:But when you go to these in person events and you hug that person and you see them in their, in just their everyday authentic self, you can't help but love them.
Speaker A:You can't help but build a relationship with them that cannot be built a of times behind the scenes behind your keyboard.
Speaker A:And so it's just amazing to me of all of these thoughts that have been just plaguing me for years that in Q1 of this year have all just been dissipated of like enough with this bullshit.
Speaker A:Enough with the bullshit, Michelle.
Speaker A:It's all freaking lies.
Speaker A:It's all stories you've made up and told yourself.
Speaker A:These are all things that you are just doing that are self sabotaging.
Speaker A:Because of whatever stories are in your own head, Right?
Speaker A:And so that is just one of those things that's like, wow, like, literally, when I say cracked wide open, it's like, enough, I'm done.
Speaker A:I'm done with that.
Speaker A:I'm done.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:And so what does all this mean?
Speaker A:And how do we shift.
Speaker A:Shift all of this?
Speaker A:How do we take these lessons?
Speaker A:How do we take all of these things?
Speaker A:And how do we shift it?
Speaker A:So here's what I'm doing.
Speaker A:Here's what I'm doing.
Speaker A:I am going to sell more and show up unapologetically.
Speaker A:I've been talking about this, my unapologetic era.
Speaker A:There was an episode around that I recorded a couple weeks ago around showing up unapologetically and.
Speaker A:But here's the thing.
Speaker A:Like, selling because I deserve to sell.
Speaker A:Selling because my programs deserve to be full, because I know without a shadow of a doubt that I can deliver on my promises.
Speaker A:At one of the conferences I was at, the coach stood at the front of the room and she said, I have zero imposter syndrome around being a coach.
Speaker A:Zero.
Speaker A:She goes, I'm not saying I don't have any imposter syndrome, but what I am saying is I have zero imposter syndrome around being a coach.
Speaker A:Because I know that if you say yes and you come into my programs and I hold space for you and you do the work, you will get the results.
Speaker A:And that I stand so solid and confident in.
Speaker A:And I can be honest in saying I do, too, right?
Speaker A:Like, I know for a fact that I am a damn good strategist and consultant and coach, and I know that the Focus Visionary Accelerator works.
Speaker A:And I'm done hiding it, and I'm done downplaying it, and I'm done making it out like it.
Speaker A:It's just a.
Speaker A:A small little group program for newbie entrepreneurs.
Speaker A:No, it's not.
Speaker A:It's for growth and scaling stage entrepreneurs.
Speaker A:And I really, truly, I have zero imposter syndrome about it.
Speaker A:Again, that doesn't mean I don't have imposter syndrome about other things.
Speaker A:It doesn't mean I don't carry any imposter syndrome.
Speaker A:It means I know that I am a good coach.
Speaker A:I know that I am a good strategist, and I deserve to sell my offers, and you do, too.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And so I'm hoping that you're listening to this episode going, you know what, Michelle?
Speaker A:I'm a damn good copywriter.
Speaker A:I'm a damn good website designer, too.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And you're standing in that power and you're thinking to yourself, I deserve to sell, too, okay?
Speaker A:And I want you to have zero imposter syndrome around whatever your zone of genius is doesn't mean that we're not going to have imposter syndrome around, you know, being a speaker or being an author or writing content or being a copywriter or whatever or whatever that might look like.
Speaker A:But know that you have zero imposter syndrome around who you are and how you show up and how you serve, okay?
Speaker A:And so that's number one.
Speaker A:Number two, going in on what feels aligned.
Speaker A:For the better part of a year and a half, there is not a single social media platform that has felt aligned to me.
Speaker A:I have struggled on all of them.
Speaker A:I tried threads.
Speaker A:I've been on Facebook, I've been dabbling on LinkedIn, Instagram.
Speaker A:I show up and just scroll.
Speaker A:I never post content on.
Speaker A:And the one thing that I have been consistent with is my email.
Speaker A:I love writing the Sunday morning brew.
Speaker A:And so then I found Substack.
Speaker A:And Substack combines social media.
Speaker A:It combines content writing with email marketing.
Speaker A:And I love it.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:But here's the other thing.
Speaker A:For a very long time, I have really shied away from going all in, like, ah, but I still want to dabble on Facebook and I still want to dabble on LinkedIn.
Speaker A:And I still, yeah, but I got clients here and what about this?
Speaker A:And whatever.
Speaker A:And I realize now you will still see me on those platforms.
Speaker A:There's a level of creating omnipresence right there.
Speaker A:There's something around that you can schedule content out.
Speaker A:But my main focus is going to be Substack and my email marketing.
Speaker A:And I would love for all of you to join me on Substack.
Speaker A:I will make sure the link is in the show notes.
Speaker A:From here on out, Substack will be the place.
Speaker A:I do plan on adding a paid tier, which I do love about Substack.
Speaker A:I'm really excited to add that paid tier and really dive deeper with everybody, create more of a community, give you deeper access to me, some, you know, daily stuff to keep you motivated.
Speaker A:Like, I've got a really good plan to monetize that, and I love it.
Speaker A:And it's just I love being able to write on that platform because the one thing I realized about my content is that I write exactly like I speak.
Speaker A:So I show up the best here on this podcast.
Speaker A:And also when I can take that, how I speak and turn that into writing.
Speaker A:And I write in long form.
Speaker A:And for a long time, I've really Struggled with that.
Speaker A:And I think that's been what's holding me back on a lot of these platforms is that they're not designed for long form content.
Speaker A:And I just love to speak in long form.
Speaker A:And so I had this realization, and so I'm going in, I'm doubling down.
Speaker A:I love substack.
Speaker A:This is not just because it's new.
Speaker A:There's so many reasons.
Speaker A:There's so many strategic reasons why.
Speaker A:But also it just feels so aligned.
Speaker A:Okay, so that's number one or number two.
Speaker A:And then number three, collaborating smarter, not harder, and completely dropping that I'm not worthy narrative.
Speaker A:Sorry, I had to take a drink because I've been talking.
Speaker A:You can hear the passion, like, when I get really super passionate.
Speaker A:I love episodes like this.
Speaker A:And I know this one's going a little bit longer, but bear with me.
Speaker A:Okay, so dropping the I'm worthy, not I'm not worthy narrative, right?
Speaker A:And leaning into those partnerships and connecting with the people that I used to put on pedestals, right?
Speaker A:The ones that I felt were untouchable, the ones that I felt I was, you know, intimidated by or the ones that would never want to be at.
Speaker A:Why would they want to do anything with me?
Speaker A:Why would they want to collaborate with me?
Speaker A:They're so much bigger than I am.
Speaker A:They're doing so much better than I am.
Speaker A:No, I'm done with that.
Speaker A:I'm done with that.
Speaker A:Because nobody's better than anybody.
Speaker A:And we're all just doing.
Speaker A:We're all just doing our damn best, right?
Speaker A:And we're all working hard to build an audience.
Speaker A:So why can't we all just work smarter and share our audiences?
Speaker A:Because here's the other thing.
Speaker A:Our audience love when we give them referrals, right?
Speaker A:And so I'm leaning.
Speaker A:I am doubling down and leaning hard into partnerships and connecting with those people.
Speaker A:I've got a really great collaborative idea I'm working on.
Speaker A:I kind of mentioned it in a couple other podcast episodes.
Speaker A:It's coming out soon.
Speaker A:I just need.
Speaker A:Need the time to execute on it and get it done correctly.
Speaker A:Because, again, this is something I'm really focused heavily on, is making sure that I do things correctly, not just to say they're done.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:And the thing is, is that we can help each other.
Speaker A:We absolutely can help each other.
Speaker A:And there is so much room for collaboration.
Speaker A:And that's what I'm focused on.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:And then I'm recommitting.
Speaker A:Recommitting to my own framework.
Speaker A:That's what it comes down to.
Speaker A:My first Q1 it's been off the freaking rails because I have not really had a 60 day period of time where I've been able to execute, where I've been home, where I haven't had interruptions, where I've not been working on stuff behind the scenes.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And so that's the beautiful thing about 60 day plans is that I can pick it right back up.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:I can pick it right back up.
Speaker A:And if you're feeling like you're kind of all over the place, I'm going to be running a 90 minute workshop on April 15th.
Speaker A:It's called the Reflect and Refocus.
Speaker A:I'm going to run this quarterly.
Speaker A:So depending on when you're listening to this episode, it doesn't matter, the link will be in the show notes.
Speaker A:But if you're really feeling like, you know what, I just need to refocus and get set up and re.
Speaker A:Get a new 60 day plan in place.
Speaker A:We're doing that on April 15th.
Speaker A:We're going to run April 15th to June 15th and you'll be in good, good shape moving into summer.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:And then I'm really focused on executing, executing instead of talking about executing.
Speaker A:One of the things I realized that I am really good at doing is coming up with ideas and telling people all about my ideas and then not executing on those ideas.
Speaker A:That's full transparency, full honesty.
Speaker A:You know, it.
Speaker A:Sometimes it looks like I execute on all my ideas and there are some ideas that we don't need to execute on.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like, I fully believe we need to prioritize our ideas.
Speaker A:But I have this really good idea that I have been sitting on for a couple of months and it's.
Speaker A:I'm not, I'm not going to just keep sitting on it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So I am in full execution mode.
Speaker A:Even if that means working a little bit later than I normally work.
Speaker A:If that means working on the weekends.
Speaker A:Like, I want to get this shit done and stop talking about it and stop making excuses for it and just get it done.
Speaker A:Because with some focused time and energy, none of it's going to take me that long.
Speaker A:And I may have to hire out some help.
Speaker A:And I am fully prepared to do that.
Speaker A:But for the most part, I can get a lot of it done if I just take the time to get it done.
Speaker A:Okay, so here's what I'm inviting you to do.
Speaker A:If you've been hiding, if you've been feeling like you're in hibernation mode, I want you to understand that you are not alone.
Speaker A:However, you can move out of it, right?
Speaker A:You can move out of it.
Speaker A:If you've been playing small, you can decide you're going to be bigger.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Those are my key words.
Speaker A:Be bigger.
Speaker A:That's what I just keep saying.
Speaker A:Be bigger.
Speaker A:Be bigger.
Speaker A:Be bigger, right?
Speaker A:And understand that we all have those limiting beliefs that sneak in.
Speaker A:And a lot of times they sneak in when we're tired, when we're stretched too thin, when we're overwhelmed, when we're feeling just at capacity.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:So when those limiting beliefs sneak in, I want you to look at your calendar.
Speaker A:I want you to look at your capacity.
Speaker A:I want you to think about, am I taking on too much?
Speaker A:Am I overwhelmed?
Speaker A:Do I just have too much on my plate and what needs to be cleared?
Speaker A:We talked a ton about spaciousness and white space.
Speaker A:That has been a topic of conversation in every room I have been in.
Speaker A:All right, so where do you need to create space?
Speaker A:Think about that, okay?
Speaker A:And then really understand that it's time to make moves, right?
Speaker A:It's not time to sit and think.
Speaker A:It's not time to play small anymore.
Speaker A:It's about making moves, reclaiming your voice, reclaim your power, stepping into your leadership.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Owning all of that and understanding that, you know, what Q1 was, what it was.
Speaker A:But we can move on.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And this goes for any season in your business where you feel like maybe things got a little off the rails.
Speaker A:Because let me tell you something, this is not new.
Speaker A:This is not like, oh, this is.
Speaker A:This is going to change, and all of a sudden I'm going to get my shit together and life's never going to go off the rails again.
Speaker A:Like, I'm sorry, but that's just not the truth of the matter.
Speaker A:The truth of the matter is life is going to throw you a curveball.
Speaker A:You're going to go off the rails, right?
Speaker A:But what is most important is giving yourself that time to pause, to reflect and get yourself refocused, okay?
Speaker A:And understand and own your genius.
Speaker A:Dump the imposter syndrome around who you are and what you do.
Speaker A:Trust me when I tell you nobody is looking at you going, who the hell is she?
Speaker A:Who the hell is he to say he's this person?
Speaker A:Who the hell is she to say she's that person?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's a story you've made up in your head.
Speaker A:I can promise you that.
Speaker A:Okay, so there's my Q1 brain dump.
Speaker A:There's.
Speaker A:There's the behind the scenes.
Speaker A:But I'm curious.
Speaker A:I would love this.
Speaker A:This type of episode especially.
Speaker A:Do you love it?
Speaker A:Would you like more of this?
Speaker A:Do you like these behind the scenes?
Speaker A:Do you like hearing kind of what's all been going on?
Speaker A:Because like I said, I used to share it all the time and then I kind of stopped.
Speaker A:And again, I don't have time to get into all of that, but I'd love to start sharing it a little bit more if that's something you're interested in.
Speaker A:So please email me.
Speaker A:My link is in the Show Notes.
Speaker A:Hit me up on substack because you're all going to subscribe to my sub stack and you're going to connect with me there.

Speaker A:So anyways, remember, it's time to reclaim your voice, your power and your leadership.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:And I'm going to do the same and we're going to do it together.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:I love you, I believe in you and I'll talk to you soon.
